Approval documents, structural analysis and material tests were provided by\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.itke.uni-stuttgart.de\/entwicklung.php?id=11\" target=\"_blank\">ITKE<\/a><\/strong>. \u00a0As you can see by the photos below, the columns are hollow, with intermittent steel braces. The GFRP was light enough to install the columns in large sections that were craned in. The cavity also allowed for an installer to verify the seams from the interior to ensure perfect alignment.
