While not the first fiberglass house (see the<strong><a title=\"History of Composites: FRP House of the Future\" href=\"http:\/\/blog.kreysler.com\/?p=226\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0<\/a>house of the future<\/strong>), the intent of this prefabricated composite dwelling was to be used daily by the habitants, not as a showpiece of future lifestyles. Made of 13 strong roof elements each with a free span of 10 meters, and 26 wall elements, 6 with rectangular windows and 20 elements in full surface, the pieces were fabricated off site and assembled over the steel reinforced structure that was to be it\u2019s foundation. Inside, furniture, shelving, even the staircase was designed and fabricated by Feierbach using FRP.
